"The Wack Wilds of Siri and Jack" - a pilot book series

Siri and Jack are 12 year-olds with major problems.  They don't know how to be normal.  They are best friends at a middle School in Middle America in the middle of nowhere.  No matter what they do or where they go, Siri and Jack are in the middle of craziness. Siri and Jack are both first generation immigrants, and their families are off the mark in normalcy. Siri's brother and parents are math-science geniuses, and Jack's entire family - 4 kids and 2 parents, are prodigy musicians.

Neither Siri nor Jack know what being normal means, so they constantly run amuck of the 'in'-crowd at school just by being themselves.  Neither their parents and siblings can help them because nobody has even an inkling about what normal means.  For example, Jack's family thinks having a good time is learning a Mozart string quartet together.  Siri's family enjoys trying to solve Riemann's Hypothesis, a math problem which no one in the world has ever solved.   Siri wanders around the neighborhood carrying a ukulele on her back and a Geiger counter in her back pocket.  Jack travels with a backpack filled with art materials and a clarinet.  Wherever they go, they disturb the peace - just because they are different.

Siri and Jack just want to fit into the world around them, but realize that they don't stand a chance.  They decide to create their own social group - The Epitome Club, a group of misfits in the town who meet in an old shack in the woods after school.   Soon Siri and Jack and the Epitome Club gain notoriety as they begin to solve mysteries and problems for their town.
